NRG XC is the Cross Country version of our NRG PRO

The APCO NRG Pro has already proven to be the ultimate answer for the fast growing, challenging segment of purpose built wings designed for professional slalom racing.

The pilot feedback and latest market trend pointed out the potential of the NRG PRO as a fast, efficient cross country machine, fun to fly and able to cover long distances effortlessly.

To meet this request, we introduced the NRG XC (Cross Country).

The NRG XC uses the same platform as NRG Pro, but designed with the aggressive XC pilots in mind. We changed the complete line set to a more robust sheathed lines and re-trimmed the wing to change much of it's slalom specific attitude. We added dedicated tip steering handles and made the wing more roll stable with it's handling specially adopted for cross country flying.

This new, re-trimmed version of NRG Pro - is a fast, safe and joyful toy, targeting pilot segment interested in fast cross country flying.

NRG XC incorporates robust design and features sheathed bottom lines.

NRG XC takes-off and lands at slower speed than you would expect, making flying easy. All thanks to new highly efficient reflex profile.

NRG XC will excite every experienced pilot - you will be infected by the xc racing virus instantly.

Color design


The glider is made from tear resistant Ripstop Nylon cloth, which is P.U. coated to zero porosity and then siliconized to give the fabric high resistance to the elements. Different cloth is used for the top, bottom and ribs due to their different functions. The lines are made of superaramid covered with a polyester sheath for protection against UV, wear and abrasion.
